Chapter 115 Chapter 115 Hearing the words 'romantic relationship, Chris's expression darkened again.
"You really think someone like him would be interested in her?" he scoffed.
Kevin hesitated.
But considering how well Stephanie's stuwas doing, she clearly wasn't just snobody.
At her age, what she'd built was impressive.
And the Harts had no clue about the studio-let alone funding it.
Kevin knew exactly how much they gave her each month, and it wasn't nearly enough to support something like that.
Chris's voice turned cold. "Figure out who that man really is. Fast." Everyone knew the owner of Shallow Bay Area wasn't ordinary, but no one had ever uncovered his identity.
And now Stephanie had somehow gotten close to him.
She sure had a way of making things work in her favor.
By the tChris got home, he barely had a second to react before something flew straight at him.
Thud! Of all places, it hit him right where he'd been injured earlier that day.
The sharp pain shot through him instantly.
Christian was fuming.
Grace, who always sided with her son, looked furious as she shot him a glare.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtChris took a deep breath and said coldly, "I already told you, before they go over the contract tomorrow, they'll meet the Lucanos heir." His voice was laced with irritation.
He was clearly fed up with Fred's repeated outbursts.
Fred snapped, "Meet him? You've already pissed him off, what, you think he's still willing to see you?" Chris's eyes narrowed. "And when exactly did I offend him?" Chris wasn't having it. He hadn't even met the guy-how could he have offended him? Fred scoffed. "Oh, really? Then why did he tellto keep you in check?" Chris's face darkened. "He said that?" What the hell was this Lucanos heir playing at? Since when did he care about someone else's family ? 1/4 16:48 Mon, 10 Mar MD Chapter 115 None of it made sense.
(900 For a brief moment, confusion flickered in Chris's eyes.
But that only made Fred, already fumming, even angrier.
"The assistant just got back to us," Fred snapped. "And his exact words? Askto keep you under control." Chris fell silent.
"You still wanna say you didn't piss him off?" "I've never even met him!", Fred grabbed the nearest ashtray and hurled it at Chris. "Then explain why he's saying this!" Chris dodged just in time. The ashtray slammed against the door behind him with a heavy thud, leaving a deep dent.
If it had hit him, there'd definitely be blood.
Tension crackled between them, anger bouncing back and forth.
Chris clenched his jaw. "I'm telling you, I've never met the guy!" This was seriously getting out of hand.
Chris hadn't even met the guy. How the hell could he have offended him? And finding him was like chasing a ghost.
Lately, everything felt like a struggle.
-Frustration burned in his chest.
Fred was still fuming. "You sure about that?" "I swear I haven't met him!" Chris shot back, just as frustrated.
Watching the two go at it, Grace finally lost her patience. "Enough. You're tellingyou really never met him?" Chris nodded. "Never." Fred narrowed his eyes. "Then how exactly did you manage to piss him off?" Both Chris and Grace froze for a second.
They were back to square one. If he had never even seen the Lucanos heir, then how did he offend him? Grace and Fred exchanged a look, something sharp flashing in her eyes.
"Could it be... Because of Olivia?" Both men went silent, their heads snapping toward her.
Chris's face darkened instantly.
70% "If I remember correctly," Grace continued, "Olivia and the Lucanos heir arrived in Long Harbor around the stime." Olivia had barely been back before the Lucanos heir showed up.

16:48 Mon, 10 Mar MO Chapter 115 Was there a connection? Chris stiffened.
Fred shot him a glare, frustration written all over his face.
"It's got nothing to do with Olivia," Chris said instinctively.
"Shut the hell up!" Fred barked and he shot Chris a cold glare.
Chris started, "It really has nothing to do with Olivia- "Get in touch with his assistant," Fred cut him off, not interested in hearing any more.
Grace's reminder had struck a nerve.
The Hart family sure outdid themselves-raising a full-fledged fefatale, doomed and all.
Dismissing the butler, Fred ordered, "Tell him I'll personally send Olivia over." "Father!" Chris's expression darkened.
The butler nodded. "Understood." Fred didn't bother acknowledging Chris's protest, throwing him a sharp, warning glance before heading upstairs.
< 70% Chris instinctively moved to follow, but Grace stopped him. "If you want Olivia to stay alive, you'd better back off." Now of all times? The Ashford family was at a critical juncture-life or death was no exaggeration.
-Olivia had never been someone they approved of, and Chris's recent involvement with her had already pushed Grace to her limit.
If Fred was stepping in personally, then it was tto cut ties.

"Mom," Chris called after her.
She paused, then looked back at him. “Chris, that man holds our biggest weakness in his hands." The unspoken message was clear-this was one battle they couldn't afford to fight.
Chris clenched his jaw. "And if this isn't about Olivia?" Panic flared in his chest.
Olivia's health was too fragile for this.
Grace didn't respond, either unwilling or uninterested in arguing further.
She simply walked away, her dog still Π nestled in her arms. Frustration boiled over, and Chris kicked the coffee table. A sharp crack rang out, followed by a searing pain shooting up his leg.

13 Chapter 115 Stephanie barely ate anything that evening.
By 10:30 PM, hunger kept her tossing and turning.
She finally gave up on sleep and crept downstairs to find something to eat only to freeze at the sight of Sebastian sitting in the living room. Elliot was there too.
She had just stepped onto the staircase when she heard Elligt say, "Sir, Fred Ashford's butter called. He said they're sending Olivia over to you." Stephanie missed a step. Her foot slipped, and she nearly tumbled down the stairs.
If not for her quick reflexes grabbing the railing, she would have face-planted.
Hearing the commotion, Sebastian turned and saw her clinging to the banister, looking utterly shaken.
His gaze darkened as he set aside the laptop on his lap and strode toward her.
Without hesitation, he scooped her up. "Seriously? You're a grown woman, and you still trip over your own feet?" Stephanie pouted. 'Not my fault!' Elliot's words had been way too shocking. And what was with the Ashfords sending Olivia to Sebastian? Were they trying to get something from him? A seduction ploy? If so, could they at least pick someone better? -Sending over a sickly woman-who exactly were they trying to insult here? 4/4.
