Chapter 122 Vincent took a cold shower to extinguish the fire raging inside him. Yet, as he lay in bed, the faint scent of flowers lingered in his nostrils, and Tiffany's face kept haunting his mind.

Tiffany's beauty captivated him-her refined features and delicate proportions presented an image of grace. Despite being tall, she seemed fragile, as if a mere touch could break her.

The next morning, Vincent woke up abruptly. His brow creased with a desire he'd never known. It was a yearning that Kelly, with whom he'd spent a night, couldn't satisfy. And yet, it was sparked by a harmless employee. The feeling in the dream was so vivid, almost as if they had actually...

Early in the morning, Tiffany was hit with another round of intense vomiting.

Stepping out of the bathroom, she found Brianna seated on the bed, her eyes glued to her.

Tiffany frowned as she walked past Brianna's bed.

After returning to her own, she closed the curtains and reached into her bag for the bottle of folic acid tablets. After a brief pause, she tipped one out and swallowed it.

Before she could second-guess herself, she understood the importance of taking care of her baby's health.

As Tiffany made her way downstairs and looked up, she noticed Brianna standing on the balcony. She was staring at her with a penetrating gaze.

Furrowing her brow, Tiffany quickened her pace and left.

It wasn't until Tiffany was out of sight that Brianna returned to the dorm room. She immediately rummaged through Tiffany's bed in search of something.

A sense of unease swept over Tiffany as she reached into her bag to check the folic acid tablets. Knowing Brianna might snoop through her things in her absence, she made sure to keep the tablets with her at all times. Meanwhile, Brianna's search turned up nothing, leaving her somewhat annoyed. Just then, Kelly called to ask about any progress.

With a frown, Brianna explained, "I didn't find anything. But something seems off about Tiffany. Kelly, do you have any idea what's going on?" Kelly paused before saying, "You know, Tiffany... she might be pregnant." "What?" Brianna's thoughts raced. "That would explain why she was so sick this morning! Pregnant? But whose baby?" "I'm not sure," Kelly said. "I heard it from Ivy." Brianna wasn't naive. She quickly pieced it together. "Tiffany isn't carrying Mr. Lewis's child, is she?" "No way!" Kelly's response was almost instinctual, suggesting there was something more to it.

However, the speed of her reply only made Brianna more suspicious.

Brianna already had a hunch. "Kelly, don't worry. No matter whose child Tiffany is carrying, I won't let her off easy." After the call, Brianna was exhilarated. She immediately opened several group chats and anonymously spread the news far and wide.

Tiffany's pregnancy had taken a toll on her, leaving her physically drained. Throughout the morning, she made multiple trips to the restroom and was unable to shake off the relentless nausea.

As lunchtdrew near, Tiffany was slouching in her seat, trying to find scomfort. Ivy cover with a pile of papers.

"Tiffany, could you organize these? We'll need them this afternoon." Through gritted teeth, Tiffany pleaded, "Ivy, I'm not feeling well today. Can you "

"No!" Ivy snapped impatiently. "Sure, Mr. Lewis might spoil you, but we're not going to. We're all here to work, so stop pretending to be fragile." Ivy had been singling out Tiffany for a while, and Tiffany knew it was pointless to argue with her.

As the team leader, Ivy held the

power. Tiffany had no choice but to gather her strength to sit up and tackle the overwhelming stack of ckleth paperwork despite feeling dizzy. "Ivy, you always seem to have a way to keep Tiffany under control." "Of course. But who knows if she'll run to Mr. Lewis and complain?"

"What's there to worry about?" Ivy scoffed. "Even if she does complain to Mr. Lewis, what's the worst that could happen? I'm not afraid!"
