Chapter 180: ????? Mr. Wade called Caden to inform him of the situation.
When Caden answered, Mr. Wade, carefully avoiding names, simply said, “It's done. When are you coming?" Caden replied in a flat tone, "Tell him to wait." Without another word, he ended the call.
At this moment, Caden was sitting in the banquet hall. Four people were gathered around a table, including him. Alicia was drinking non-stop, finishing one glass after another, while Caden remained expressionless. Gerry and Monica, who had just met, were chatting non-stop.
Their chatter continued on and on, leaving Alicia unable to join in. Feeling distracted, she glanced at Caden from tto time. She wondered what tit was and how many drinks he had already consumed. Why hadn't they started talking about the important matters? Impatiently, I kicked Caden under the table.
Caden looked up. "What was that kick for?" I have asked.
Alice's lips moved slightly. She thought to herself: 'I've kicked you because I can't say it out loud. 'Why would you announce it like that?' Just as she expected, Gerry leaned over to her. “What's wrong now?" I have asked.
Alice touched her nose. "I had a cramp in my leg. I couldn't help it," she said, trying to divert attention.
"What a cramp," Caden said coldly. "You ended up kicking me." "It's a condition where I aim unpredictably. How unlucky you are to be sitting there!" Alice responded with a smile.
Gerry chuckled, amused by their jokes.
Realizing they were arguing again, she decided to liven things up. She nudged Caden and said, "I don't buy that excuse. Let's switch seats, Caden." Caden looked at him, understanding Gerry's intention. However, he stood up and changed seats.

"Is Joshua here yet?" she wrote.
Caden's phone vibrated on the table in front of him. Knowing it was from Alicia, he ignored it and casually swirled the drink in his glass.
Frustrated by his indifference, Alice gritted her teeth.
Determined to get an answer, she sent another message.
"The art exhibition is almost over. Are you going to take care of business today or not?" Caden realized how aggressively he was typing. It looked like he was going to punch through the screen.
He raised an eyebrow, but then closed his eyes and leaned back in his chair.
Alicia, exasperated, could not contain herself any longer. She began bombarding him with a string of angry emojis.
Caden's phone buzzed incessantly. With each vibration, it moves closer to the edge of the table. Gerry stared, bewildered.
"Caden, someone is trying to contact you. Aren't you going to answer?" I have asked.
Caden remained motionless. "Don't bother. That phone is cursed." "What do you mean?" Gerry replied, bewildered. "How can a phone be cursed?" As Alice continued to shower him with angry emojis, he suddenly realized how childish he was being. I turned off the screen, frustrated.
Unable to contain himself, he kicked Caden under the table again, this tharder.
The sound was loud enough for the two people standing next to him to hear, but neither of them said a word. Caden opened his eyes and looked at her. “What's wrong now? Another sudden tremor in your leg?" Alice replied coldly, "Yes. "My leg seems to act up whenever I'm around hateful people." Without saying anything, Caden stood up and walked away from the table.
A few moments later, her phone buzzed with a new message.
"See you outside," Caden's message read.
Alice bit into the straw, gritting her teeth in frustration. She stubbornly refused to answer, debating whether she should leave.
Seconds later, another message appeared: "You have two minutes. This is your last chance." She stared at the screen, momentarily speechless. Letting out a sigh, she pushed her chair aside and headed for the door to the private room.
Caden leaned against the wall, looking at his watch. “You really can't stand losing, can you? "You showed up at exactly one minute and fifty-nine seconds." Alice skipped the pleasantries and leaned toward him, whispering, "Where's Joshua?" "Mr. "Wade is waiting for my word," Caden replied.
Alice understood the gravity of the situation. The outcdepends entirely on his actions.
He clenched his fists, frustration bubbling inside him.
"Our agreement clearly states that you cannot threaten me," he said, his voice firm.
Caden calmly replied, "If that deal means so much to you, why are you stuck in this endless loop with me?" This time, Alice was speechless. Not wanting him to read her thoughts, she turned away, feeling a blush of embarrassment creep up her neck.

Alice remained silent.
Impatient with her silence, Caden added, "Givea quick kiss and we'll go. Eat here." Alice frowned at him. "Is now really the tfor that?" Caden didn't answer. Instead, he just looked at her with a stern expression.
With a sigh, Alice walked over, put her arms around her neck, and bit her lips.
Caden took a deep breath, but just as he was about to pull her closer, his phone range. It was Mr. Wade, calling to discuss an urgent matter.
Caden decided to put off dealing with her for the moment and focused on business first.
They left the room separately, Caden leading the way and Alicia following closely behind.
Meanwhile, in another room, Joshua was growing more and more impatient.
He stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray, his expression grim. "Mr.
Wade, if you don't intend to lendNo the money, just say so. There's no need to play games with me," Joshua said.
Mr. Wade felt cold sweat forming on his palms. He was relying on Caden for support, but with Qader still ve m absent, he began to worry that Caden might be messing with him. He knew that offending Joshua could bring serious consequences. Just as Joshua was about to leave, the door suddenly opened.
Joshua looked up, frozen in place.
Standing in the doorway were Caden and Alicia, side by side, making a strikingly handscouple. Then sight was so dazzling that it was like a direct blow to Joshua's senses. The anger he had been suppressing instantly emerged forth. He let out a bitter laugh. "What is this supposed to mean? Are you planning to make your relationship with my ex-wife public?"
