Chapter 145: ????? The doctor was momentarily taken back.
The voice on the other end sounded remarkably young. "Could he really be Alice's father?" the doctor wondered.
His instinct warned him of potential danger and he proceeded with caution. He managed to say, "Hello, Mr. Bennett. How is Mrs. Bennett's foot now?" Caden replied coldly, "Were you the one who treated his foot yesterday?" "Yes," the doctor confirmed.
Alice's beauty was undeniable. Although the doctor knew it was unlikely that he would ever win her affections, he felt inclined to try.
Caden, recognizing the doctor's intentions, replied flatly, "She's perfectly fine." Taking a risk, the doctor asked, "Mr. Bennett, may I call Mrs. Bennett later? Since she is well, I would like to invite her to dinner." Caden paused briefly. His irritation turned to amusement, and he let out a laugh. "What do you think?" The doctor quickly added, “I know it's late, but please don't worry, Mr. Bennett, I promise I'll get you hsafely after dinner!" He continued: "I had intended to call earlier, but Mrs Bennett was recovering from a head injury last night in the hospital and needed to rest this morning. "I didn't want to disturb her." Caden's anger subsided slightly. I have remembered Alicia's aversion to hospitals. After the order the night before, she had gone to the emergency room alone and had been deeply shaken. Then she had returned honly to face her reproach.

At that moment, Alice appeared.
Seeing him with the phone, she asked: "Who told you that you can touch my things?" Caden looked at her intently. "I answered a call." Alice's expression darkened even further. "How could you answer someone else's phone?" He then proceeded to unlock the phone and check the call.
Caden's guilt quickly dissipated when he noticed Alicia's impatience.
"The ringtone was annoying," he said coldly.
Alice realized that the call was trivial and decided to let it go. "Why didn't you hang up then?" Caden scoffed. "If I had, I would have missed all the excitement." Alice was confused. “What did the doctor tell you?" Caden's voice dripped with sarcasm. “What else would a pathetic loser trying to charm you say? His pick-up lines are so hackneyed a dog wouldn't fall for them." Alice was surprised. Couldn't she show a little kindness? She remembered the doctor's handsappearance from the night before and tormented, "Why is he such a pathetic loser? He's actually more attractive than you." Caden gave him a pointed look. "Did you lose your sight along with your balance last night?" "Am I wrong?" Alice replied. "You are unattractive and overly sensitive. "You really do have it all." This left Caden speechless.
Since she was already there, Alice asked, "Where's the evidence you found on Randolph? Givea copy." Caden's tone turned icy. "Why would I?" Alice was stunned. "Why not? Our personal affairs shouldn't interfere with business." Caden replied coldly, "You closed the door and walked out when I asked you this morning. Wasn't that a clear sign that our agreement was void?" Alice's expression hardened, not wanting to miss this opportunity. "No, those are separate issues." Caden's demeanor softened slightly. "Fine. If the deal is still active, let's review it thoroughly." "It has already been amended twice. What else is there to discuss?" "I wasn't worried about losses before, but now I am. From now on, we have to strictly comply with the terms of the agreement." With that, he pulled the contract out of the drawer and tossed it in front of Alice.
I have pointed out the most controversial clause: "Sex up to ten times a month. “How many times have we been together this month?" "Only once," answered Alice, her cheeks flushed.
"It was five times, not ten. Have you altered the terms?" Caden showed no sign of embarrassment. "Originally, the agreement was that you would obeywithout question. But after one intense night, you couldn't stand it, so you reviewed it ten times a month." Alice was speechless.
"What I mean is that it was supposed to be five times. Let's get to the point," he said.
Caden raised an eyebrow with a hint of provocation. "Fifteen times?" Alice raised her voice, clearly frustrated. "Five times!"
"Oh, yeah?" Caden pointed to the fingerprint on the document. I could modify the text of the agreement, but could I fake your fingerprint?" Alice's skepticism increased. She picked up the document and inspected it more closely. Sure enough, it was her fingerprint.

Caden knew the whole story. She had originally changed it to five times, but after an impromptu intimate moment while she was lounging on the couch, she had changed it to ten times. For him, even ten times a month was insufficient. Five times? That was unthinkable.
Caden picked up the agreement again and put it back in the drawer. "If you acknowledge that the agreement is still valid, I will give you the evidence." Alice eyed him warily, unwilling to be caught by his tactics.
"Givea moment to think," he said.
Caden was in no mood to be patient.
"I'll give you three seconds," he declared, checking his watch and counting down with exaggerated seriousness. "Three."
