"I mean... when we fainted, Kiran did too. Surprisingly, he woke up before any of us did." Sophie kept quiet about
the dream.
She wanted to ask why she hadn't seen Kiran in it. But the dream was about being reborn, and in front of
everyone, Sophie decided it was best to keep that to herself. | mean, who would buy into the idea of four gems
holding such incredible power?
Since that whole incident, her gem had vanished. She'd asked around, and even Joseph's gem was missing.
Maybe those four gems had done their job and disappeared, or maybe Kiran, who woke up first, took them
amidst the chaos.
Harold had mentioned he left them for a bit while they were out cold, to get help. Perhaps that's when Kiran
slipped away.

When the conversation got heavy, Adler jumped in to lighten things up, "Hey, let's not dwell on this on such a
happy day! Joseph is gone, our biggest threat is no more! Burke International has agreed to make peace with us
strictly business from now on, no more hostility. Let's all get along and build a brighter future together!"
Jenna teased from the side, "Didn't quite sound like your line, did it?"
"Eh, close enough."
Adler had already grabbed his fork, saying, "Let's eat, I'm starving."
"You're always thinking about food! Go on, dig in, no one's stopping you."
Everyone started to eat.
Just then, Sophie's phone buzzed. She glanced at the caller ID and stepped aside to answer.
On the line, James said, "Heard you got out of the hospital."
"Yeah, | did. How about you? How are your injuries?"
"Getting better."
"Everyone's here today, wanna join us for a drink?"
"No, I'm good."
James paused, then added, "I called because there's something | need to tell you."
"What is it?"
"| didn't mention my deal with Gordon earlier because | didn't want Joseph to get suspicious." "I get it."
"Only a few of us know about the
rebirth thing. Elodie and | weren't e
actually reborn; Joseph hypnotized us into thinking we had past life memories."
