Khloe twisted her body with a deft maneuver, evading Jack's intended slap. A small dagger slid from her sleeve
into her grasp.

The commotion quickly drew in more security staff and the dealership’s general manager, Corley Hinks. When he
saw the bloody mess, he almost passed out but steadied himself, shouting, “Don’t anyone move! What the hell
is happening?”

Shelton, still stunned on the sidelines, saw Corley as his only hope and rushed over to protest, “This insane
woman, Khloe Evans, attacked the Mayor's secretary and a respected guest from Ouiswell. You have to arrest
her. If not, our dealership is in serious trouble.”
Corley was visibly shaken, his voice incredulous. “Did you just say she’s Khloe Evans?”
“Yes, the actress!” Shelton shot a look of both fear and revulsion at Khloe. “She assaulted people in front of
everyone and claimed our dealership tampered with her car. Everyone saw it. You've got to...”
Before Shelton could say more, Corley slapped him sharply, and blood began to seep from the corner of his
mouth.
Furious, Corley roared, “Didn’t I tell you to treat this distinguished guest with respect? How dare you mess with
her car?”
