Levi smiled. "How could | possibly protect a murderer?" Mark demanded, "So, what's the meaning of this?"
After glancing at Aurelius, Levi answered, "I said the murderer should repay with his life! If he isn't the murderer
but keeps getting harassed by you guys, he deserves an apology from all of you!"
Mark's expression turned frosty as he questioned, "Master Levi, are you implying that Matthew is not the
murderer? Do you have any evidence to prove that?"
A smiling Levi taunted, "Old Master Damron, why would | be here if | didn't have any evidence?" As soon as he
said those words, Mark's expression turned ugly.
He was pretending to be tough earlier to test Levi. If Levi did not have any evidence, he could use that fact to
deal with Matthew. That way, even if Levi insisted on helping Matthew, the Damrons could stand on the moral
high ground and work with the other families to confront Levi.
However, judging by Levi's current attitude, Mark knew his plan was not going to work because he must have
acquired sevidence. If there was any solid evidence, the Damrons would not be able to do anything!
Unwilling to accept the turn of events, Aurelius asked, "Master Levi, are you sure the evidence you have is

Levi looked at him and smiled. "Not only is it sound, but there's also a surprise!"
Aurelius frowned and snapped. "A surprise? My uncle and brother are dead, and you're tellingyou have a
surprise? Although the Damrons can't compare with the King of the South, we won't allow you to humiliate us
this way!"
The other members of the Damron Family all looked at Levi furiously as if they were staring death in the eye.
At that moment, Levi burst out laughing. "Don't worry. | promise you the surprise's worth it!"
A man cfrom behind him with a laptop in his hand. Then, he turned it on and played a video that showed a
dark forest.
When Aurelius saw the location in the video, he instantly turned ashen as that was the very place that they
encountered the assassination!
"We found sfootage, and in this footage is the entire process of Falconn's murder! Not only that, but this
video also shows Aurelius leaving the defenseless Falconn behind and escaping on his own. So, Aurelius, do you
find this surprising?" Levi explained with a smile.
At that moment, everyone else was watching the events unfold in the video, including the ambush. Aurelius’
complexion immediately turned beet red.
That night, he did escape alone and left Falconn behind, using his uncle's life as a divergence so that he could
escape. However, he had never mentioned this to anyone because if anyone found out that he had abandoned
Falconn and ran away alone, he would lose his position as head of the Damron Family!
To his dismay, everything was caught clearly on tape, rendering him dumbfounded.
After the Damrons finished watching the footage, they looked at each other before simultaneously turning to
look at Aurelius; even Mark was looking at him with cold eyes. "Aurelius, what really happened?" questioned
Mark.
A terrified Aurelius stammered, "Dad, I-I-l..." He stuttered for a long while before suddenly thinking of something
and roaring, "This footage must be fake. It has to be fake!" However, Mark was not convinced. "The footage is
crystal clear, so how could it be fake?"
At that, Aurelius anxiously debated, "Dad, think about it. How could anyone have tto record anything in such
a situation? Could the one behind the assassination be Master Levi, and he had arranged for his men to hide
nearby and record this footage?"
