Chapter 302 Seline moved ahead, giving Suzanne a look. Her face lit up with a soft smile as she said loudly, "I won't take up much of your time. Let's begin with Julie." Since Julie was first on the agenda, there were no objections to starting with her. She nodded quickly, hooked her tablet to the display, and showcased her work to everyone. As the first presenter, she felt a bit anxious.
With a laser pointer in hand, she directed it toward her presentation on the screen and started to explain, albeit with a slight hesitation in her voice. "Here's a jewelry collection I created with a floral theme, including a necklace and earrings..." Macey admired Julie's creation and couldn't resist complimenting it. "This design is incredibly ethereal. I believe many women would adore it." Suzanne, on the other hand, wore a slight frown. Although the work was aesthetically pleasing, it lacked originality and distinguishing characteristics. The designs were intended for competition, not merely for display in a boutique, which was two completely different purposes.
Seline instinctively looked at Henry, leaned in, and softly asked, "Dad, what do you think?" She felt unsure about her ability to evaluate designs and wanted to avoid making a rash decision.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHenry frowned at Seline, questioning her sense of style. Noticing his displeasure, Seline quickly smiled and said, "I just want to know your thoughts." Henry gave a nod and scribbled a note on the paper he was holding. Seline glanced at the list he was reviewing and noticed an "X" marked beside Julie's name. She instantly grasped the meaning.
Turning her attention back to the meeting, she announced, "Next." The meeting was moving at a sluggish pace since each designer needed to present and elaborate on their work's concept and details.
When Seline invited the next presenter, Lillian promptly rose. She moved to the front, connected to the screen, and began her presentation. "This design draws inspiration from the forest landscapes. The necklace centers around a green tourmaline..." Henry examined the design displayed on the screen and marked "Pending" beside Lillian's name.
Macey leaned toward Suzanne and asked with curiosity, "Ms. Suzanne, what's your opinion on her work?" Macey believed the concept was promising yet felt that something was lacking, though she couldn't exactly identify what it was.
Suzanne crossed her arms and leaned back in her chair, stating bluntly, "While there's soriginality, the quality of the work is lacking." Suzanne crossed her arms and leaned back in her chair, remarking plainly, "While there's a touch of originality, the workmanship is lacking." Looking at the necklace Lillian had created, it didn't quite meet the standard needed to secure the Elite Award. The lines lacked fluidity, resulting in a somewhat insignificant appearance.
Suzanne's brief comment was spot on, and Macey nodded in agreement as she could finally grasp the problem. Upon overhearing part of Suzanne's observation, Lillian spun around and shot her a glare.
However, with Henry present, she had no choice but to suppress her irritation.
When Seline called for the next designer, Macey stepped up and prepared herself.

Macey ignored her completely. Normally sweet-looking with her round cheeks, Macey now exuded confidence.
This change took Suzanne by herto surprise, prompting her to sitap straight in her chair as she quietly watched Macey. Suzanne's lips formed a slight smile as she assessed Macey's work. Despite sareas needing improvement, it was already quiet over

Seline looked at Suzanne. Despite her kind smile, her eyes were icy. She gently said, 'Sue, it's your turn."
