Chapter 274 Henry did his best to keep things vague, careful not to say too much and accidentally let something slip. The last thing he wanted was for Grayson to pick up on anything unusual.

Sensing his reluctance, Grayson assumed he simply didn't want to talk further. So, he let the matter of Jane drop and shifted the conversation back to business.

Two hours later, the dinner finally cto an end.

As soon as Grayson stepped out and the private dining room door shut behind him, Henry's polite smile vanished. He quickly pulled out his phone and dialed Suzanne's number, but there was no answer.

His anxiety spiked. He tried again and again, but every call went unanswered.

Clenching his phone, he cursed under his breath, "Damn it! Why isn't she picking up?" Ever since Suzanne moved out, he had no idea where she was staying. It left him completely powerless.

If she had just told him about her status earlier, the company wouldn't be stuck in place. They could have soared to new heights by now.

Henry slammed his phone onto the table and let out a heavy sigh.

Thinking of the ungrateful woman, he knew he had to go to the office tomorrow and talk to her in person. But still, he doubted that Suzanne was Jane. Even now, he found it hard to believe.

He hurriedly opened a video streaming platform. The moment the homepage loaded, it was flooded with promotions for Wellness Pioneers. He barely had to search.

Clicking on the video, he watched intently-again and again—until there was no room left for doubt.

It was her.

Henry sank into his chair, racking his brain for how he should approach her tomorrow. He had no idea what kind of attitude she'd have toward him now.

But there was nothing else he could do tonight. All he could do was go hand wait.

The next day, Suzanne arrived at the office as usual. She headed straight to the design department after clocking in. But the moment she stepped inside, she sensed something was off. The air felt different.

The people who had once treated her rudely now wore anxious expressions, as if terrified of what she might do. After all, now that they knew who she really was, they understood just how much influence Jane wielded. If Suzanne wanted to ruin them, she had countless ways to do it.

Those who had mistreated Suzanne before were imagining the worst-case scenarios, and their faces grew paler by the second.

But Suzanne remained indifferent. Their reactions didn't interest her in the slightest. She simply walked over to her desk.

Where it had once been clean and orderly, she now found small snacks and a freshly brewed cup of coffee, steam still curling into the air.

Her gaze swept across the room before settling on Lillian.

She shrank back instantly, her face going ghostly white. She looked like a deer caught in headlights as guilt was written all over her.

Just then, Macey-dressed in a soft pink denim jumper dress-tilted her head and beamed at her. "Good morning, Ms. Yates! I made this coffee for you. Give it a try." Suzanne's eyes flicked to the small teddy bear clipped to Macey's dress, its round face frozen in a dopey grin. The corner of her lips lifted slightly. "Thank you," she said softly.

She picked up the coffee and took a sip. It wasn't as good as the one she had at home, but it was drinkable. Lillian shot Macey a glare.

"This bootlicker is wasting no tcozying up to Suzanne," she thought.

But Macey couldn't care less. Lillian was just jealous.

Flashing Suzanne a bright smile, she chirped, "Ms. Yates you're amazing! I can't believe you're Jane, the En legendary miracle doctor!"

With her status, it was no wonder she was so unfazed when Maceyadvised her against attending the dinner with Khalil. Suzanne merely nodded, brushing it off. "It's just a bit of medical knowledge. It's nothing special." Just then, a voice rang out from the doorway.

"Well, yeah. Just a bit of medical knowledge," Seline muttered as she entered the office.

The air grew thick in an instant, and no one dared to make a sound.
