Chapter 249 Henry had been plotting against him all along? Frankie's anger surged, his expression darkening to an extreme.

Todd, unable to contain his fury, cursed outright, "That old bastard! I'll kill him!" He had always found it strange how Suzanne had managed to escape his grasp tand tagain. Now, it all made sense. It was Henry pulling the strings.

He had even drugged her back then, yet she had still managed to resist. No wonder-Henry must have botched the dose on purpose.

Suzanne, feeling parched, instinctively wanted to drink swater, but when her eyes landed on the coffee and pastries on the table, she found them revolting and held back.

Instead, she continued, "I've heard sthings. You might find them interesting, Mr. Lloyd." Frankie immediately turned to her with suspicion in his gaze. "Dr. Smith, what is it?" Right now, all he wanted was to make Henry pay for what he had done.

Suzanne remained composed, her tone casual. "Since you're my client, I'll share this with you for free." Frankie straightened his back, fully engaged. "Thank you, Dr. Smith. What do you know?" Shane had been watching Suzanne the entire time, and at this moment, excitement flickered in his eyes. He loved seeing her stir things up.

Only then did Suzanne, still calm, deliver her words with ease. "The Yates family is preparing to cafter you. And from the looks of it, they're well-prepared." Frankie was visibly shocked. "What?" That old bastard still dared to target the Lloyd family? He hadn't even gone after Henry for his previous schemes, yet Henry was already planning his next move? Still, suspicion lingered in Frankie's mind. He eyes Suzanne and asked, "Dr. Smith, how do you know this so clearly?" Suzanne frowned slightly.

What a cunning old fox. He wasn't so easy to fool.

Shane's expression darkened in displeasure as he snapped, "With all the clients we have, you think it's hard for us to find out these things?" Frankie and Todd fell silent, exchanging a glance. They knew full well the extent of Shane's influence.

For someone with his connections and for a figure as respected as Jane- getting ahold of such information was effortless.

Frankie's eyes burned with hatred, his voice laced with venom. "That old bastard, Henry Yates, will get what's coming to him." Todd tried to grab Frankie's arm but hesitated as he remembered the countless silver needles embedded in his skin. He gritted his teeth and growled. "Dad, we can't let the Yates family get away with this." They dared to put him in this state.

The Yates family had to pay! A fleeting smile flickered in Suzanne's eyes before it vanished. She shot Shane a look, and he instantly understood.

Checking his wristwatch, he remarked, "Are we done here? Our next appointment is coming up." His usual baby-faced features were now serious.

Suzanne stood up and replied without hesitation, "Yes, we're done. Let's go." She had no reason to linger even a second longer. Everything in this place disgusted her.

Todd panicked. He struggled to his feet, silver needles still Brotruding from his body Dr. Smith, you're just ΕΠ leavinglike this?"

But he had stood too quickly, and the sharp pain radiating from hiso m meridian's sent him collapsing back onto the stool. Frankie rushed forward to help him but, realizing he might touch the needles, recoiled at the last second.

Suzanne turned back to glance at Todd, one delicate brow arching slightly Amusement flickered in her eyes before she casually replied, "Bear with it." Then, without another word, she walked out.

Frankie and Todd were left there, helpless.

Frankie, scrambling to regain composure, hurried after them. "Dr. Smith, letarrange for someone to drive you." Suzanne waved a hand dismissively. "No need. We drove here ourselves."
