Chapter 137
"Joshua, | want to be in the photo too," Lillian chimed in, trying to hide the jealousy in her eyes as she wedged
herself between Allison and Joshua.
Sabrina suddenly let out a tic gasp. "Oh my goodness!"
Turning his head with concern, Brian asked, "Sabrina, what's up?"
Feigning seriousness, Sabrina replied, "There's such a massive third wheel here, it's practically blinding me."
Lillian heard Sabrina's comment but stood her ground between Allison and Joshua, as shameless as ever.
Since Lillian wasn't budging, Sabrina casually put away her selfie stick and turned to Lillian with her signature
fake smile. "Sorry, Ms. Lillian, we're done with our photos. If you want a picture, you can snap swith Shawn
and your girlfriends."

Lillian bit back her retort, forcing a smile as she wrapped her arm around Joshua's. "Then I'll just snap a few with
my brother."
Allison lowered her gaze, her eyes landing on Lillian's hand.
Joshua pulled his arm away, his expression cold. "You're old enough to stop clinging to me. Maybe it's tyou
find a boyfriend."
Despite Lillian's practiced facade, Joshua's suggestion about finding a boyfriend made her smile falter, a hint of
hurt flickering in her eyes.
"Why can't | be close to you? Is it just because I'm grown up? You used to spoil me," Lillian protested.
Joshua's tone remained distant. "That was then. It's different now, Lillian. You need to understand boundaries."
Lillian's earlier behavior had already exposed her true intentions to Joshua. She was still his sister, so he chose
not to embarrass her publicly. However, he did recognize her jealousy and hostility towards Allison. As Allison's
boyfriend, it was Joshua's duty to reassure her.
Joshua's words left Lillian stunned. "Joshua, why do siblings need boundaries?"
Sabrina clicked her tongue. "Do you really think you're ssort of Fisher family princess? Adults with no blood
relation need boundaries, don't you think?"
Looking up with eyes brimming with unshed tears, Lillian silently pleaded with Joshua.
However, Joshua remained unmoved. "Sabrina's right. Even though we are siblings, we have no blood relation.
Let's not do things that might be misunderstood."
Lillian wanted to argue more, but Joshua sidestepped her, taking Allison's
hand with a deep, carinet
look "Allie, we're done with the photos. Let's head out."

Allison smiled triumphantly, casting a challenging look at Lillian. "Lillian, if you want to take more pictures, have
at it. I'm off with Joshua."
Allison inwardly mocked, thinking, 'You're quite the master manipulator, but too bad your brother's not buying it."
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the temperature took a noticeable dive. The mountain stream added a chill
with its damp air.
Joshua pulled a thick jacket from his backpack. "Allie, put this on."
Inexperienced with the outdoors, Lillian hadn't anticipated the mountain's drastic temperature drop She was
dressed in her flimsy hiking jacket and shivering
Seeing Joshua offer Allison a jacket stoked Lillian's jealousy.
Just as Allison pulled on her jacket and started walking, a sudden scream pierced the air behind them.
Instinctively, she turned back, but the winding mountain path and dense trees blocked her view
