Chapter 132
Alexander's POV.
Sebastian smirked, a cocky tilt to his lips, even though he looked like he'd been through hell. “In the flesh,” he
said, his voice rough, filled with sarcasm, as if this moment was nothing more than a casual reunion.
But for me, it was everything. | didn’t care about the tattered clothes hanging off his thin fror the layer of
gron his face. All | saw was my brother. My blood. The person I'd been searching for nearly eight years, now
standing in front of me.
Without hesitation, | closed the distance between us in two strides and pulled him into a tight hug. He stiffened
for a moment, then relaxed, his hands awkwardly patting my back. | didn’t let go. | couldn't. My throat tightened,
and | swallowed hard, holding him as if letting go would mean losing him again.
“Sebastian” | murmured, patting his back as emotions surged through me. “You're here. You're finally here.”
He didn’t say anything, but | could feel the tension in his body giving way as he stood there, lettinghold him.
I leaned back slightly, my hands still on his shoulders, and looked him in the eyes. They were the sstormy
gray as mine, but haunted. Worn. Like he'd lived a thousand lifetimes of pain since I'd last tried to reach him.
“You look terrible,” | said softly, a weak attempt at humor, though my voice cracked with emotion. “What the hell
happened. to you, Sebastian?”
His smirk faltered, and his gaze dropped to the floor. “I've been surviving, Alex. That's what's happened. From
hand to mouth. Day by day.” His voice was low, almost a whisper, but each word hitlike a hammer.
| gritted my teeth, anger and guilt twisting inside me. “Why didn’t you cto me? | could've...”
“Because | didn’t want your charity!” he snapped, his voice sharp as he looked up, his eyes blazing with anger,
But then, just as quickly, his expression crumbled. “I didn’t...I couldn't...”
His voice broke, and he turned away, his shoulders shaking. | stepped closer, placing a hand firmly on his back.
“Sebastian,” | said, my tone steady but filled with determination, “you're my brother. My blood. This isn’t charity.
You should've cto me.”
He let out a ragged breath, and then, to my shock, he burst into tears. The sound was raw, guttural, like years of
pain and bitterness spilling out all at once. It tore at my heart, and I pulled him into another hug, holding him
tightly as his sobs. wracked his body.
“I'm sorry,” he choked out between gasps. “I just...I didn’t know how to... | didn’t think you'd...”
“Stop,” | interrupted firmly, my voice soft but unyielding. “You don’t have to explain. You're here now, and that’s
all that matters. You and your mother won't suffer again. Do you hear me?” | pulled back to look him in the eyes,
gripping his shoulders tightly. “From now on, you'll live like me. Because you're my brother. My family. And | take
care of my family.”
He stared at me, his tear-streaked face filled with both disbelief and gratitude. “Alex, |—"
“No arguments,” | said, cutting him off. “This isn’t up for debate. You're moving into a new place, and we're
going to fix everything.”
For a moment, he just stood there, staring atas if he couldn't believe what he was hearing. Then, slowly, he
nodded, his shoulders slumping as the fight left him.
“Okay,” he whispered, his voice barely audible. “Okay.”
| nodded, gripping his shoulders one last tbefore releasing Him. As | stepped back, | felt a sense of relief and
purpose wash over me. My brother was here. And no matter what it took, | was going to make things right.

The weight of Sebastian words sat heavy in my chest as | drove Him to one of my estates. The sprawling
mansion stood ahead, its towering gates opening automatically as we approached. | glanced at Sebastianin the
passenger seat, his eyes wide as he took it all in. His torn shirt and grimy jeans were such an opposite to the
sleek luxury of the car's leather interior that it made my heart ache. He had suffered far too long.
“Welcto your new home,” | said, pulling the car to a stop in front of the massive double doors.
Sebastianstared at me, then at the house, his mouth slightly open, but no words cout.

believe this was real, before slowly/getting out.
As we stepped inside, the grandeur of the place seemed to overwhelm him. The marble floors gleaned under the
chandelier’s light, and the expansive hall stretched endlessly, adorned with fine art and intricate furnishings.
Sebastian Stood frozen, his jaw tightening, his hands clenching and unclenching at his sides. | knew what he was
thinking... that this was too much, that he didn’t belong here.
“You do belong here, Sebastian” | said, my voice firm as | walked up to him. “This is your hnow.”
He looked at me, his stormy gray eyes
With unshed tears. “Alex, | don't...”
“Don’t argue,” | interrupted, gripping his shoulder. “You're my brother. | want you to have everything you've
been denied.”
For the next hour, | made it my mission to shower him with everything he’d missed out on. First, we walked
through the house, and | pointed out the guest rooms. “Pick whichever one you like,” | said. “Or, better yet, I'll
have the master suite on the second floor set up for you.”
Sebastian didn’t respond, but the look in his eyes, which were of awe and disbelief, spoke volumes. After the
house tour, | called my personal shopper and ordered a wardrobe overhaul for him. We visited the dressing
rooms | kept in the mansion,” where racks of designer suits, casual wear, and shoes were delivered within hours.
| handed him a set of keys to three cars parked in the garage: a sleek black sports car, a luxury SUV, and a
classic convertible. Sebastian's hands trembled as he took the keys, looking atas though I'd lost my mind.
“What is this?” he asked, his voice shaking.
“Your cars,” | said simply. “You'll need them.”
“And this,” | added, pulling a cheque from my pocket and handing it to him. “For you. Ten million dollars. Use it
however you like.”
Sebastian Froze, staring at the cheque like it might explode in his hands. His entire body trembled as he slowly
sank to his knees, his head bowed. “I...I can’t accept this, Alex. It's too much
| was beside him in an instant, grabbing his shoulders and pulling him to his feet. “Stop it,” | said firmly, holding
him steady. “Don’t ever kneel to me. You're my brother. This is just the beginning, Sebastian. You're going to live
the life you deserve, do you understand me?”
He shook his head, tears streaming down his face. “I don’t know what to say. No one has ever... No one has ever
cared aboutlike this.”
I pulled him into a hug, patting his back as his sobs shook his body. “You don’t have to say anything. Just let me
take care of you.”
After a moment, | leaned back and looked him in the eye. “Where's your mom? Bring her here. I'd like to meet
her if she doesn’t mind.”
Sebastian's face crumpled, and a fresh wave of tears spilled down his cheeks. “She’s gone, Alex. She passed
away last month.”

His voice cracked, raw with pain. “I buried her... buried her alone.”

The air seemed to leave the room, and my chest tightened. “Sebastian,” | whispered, gripping his arms as my
heart broke for him. “I'm so sorry. | should've been there. You shouldn't have had to go through that alone.”
“I didn’t know how to find you,” he said, his voice thick with emotion. “And even if | did, | didn’t think you'd want
anything to do withafter all this time.”
I shook my head, my grip on him tightening. “You're wrong. | would've dropped everything to be there for you.
For her. For both of you.”
Sebastian Collapsed against me, his sobs muffled against my shoulder. | held him, stroking his back, whispering
promises | intended to keep. “You're not alone anymore. I'm here now, and | won't let anything happen to you
again.”
For a long time, we stayed like that, two brothers bound by blood and years of pain, finally finding solace in each
other. | didn’t care how long it took or how much it cost...| would make sure Sebastian never had to suffer again.
Hours had passed since Sebastian arrived, and yet | felt like I'd barely scratched the surface of making up for the
years he'd suffered. After ensuring he was settled in one of the grander guest rooms...though I'd already decided
to give him the suite on the west wing...l decided we needed to keep going.
He had showered, shaved, and changed into one of the new outfits I'd ordered for him earlier. Seeing him now,
dressed in a tailored shirt and slacks that actually fit him, was like seeing a completely different man. The
tension in his shoulders had eased slightly, though his eyes still carried the weight of grief and exhaustion.
“You look better,” | said, handing him a glass of aged scotch.
He gavea small, hesitant smile. “I don’t think I've ever worn anything this expensive. Or lived somewhere
this...insane.”
| smirked, sitting down across from him in the living room. The fire crackled in the marble fireplace, having a
warm glow over the plush furniture. “Get used to it, Sebastian. This is your life now.”
He chuckled softly, shaking his head. “Still feels like a dream. Like I'm gonna wake up any second and find
myself back in that crappy apartment.”
I leaned forward, my expression hardening. “That's never happening again. | mean it. You and I? We're family.
That means something, and I'm going to make damn sure you never have to go back to that life.”
Sebastian Nodded, swallowing hard. | could see he was still struggling to accept it all, but | wasn’t done yet. Not
by a long shot.
“We've got more to do,” | said, standing and motioning for him to follow me.
He looked atwarily. “More? Alex, you've already done too much-"
“Not nearly enough,” | interrupted, grabbing my phone and dialing one of my contacts. “Meet us at the house in
twenty minutes,” | said when the call connected. “I've got another assignment for you.”
Sebastian looked confused but followedanyway as we walked outside to the garage. The estate's staff had
already lined up the three cars I'd given him earlier. The sleek black sports car the luxury SUV, and the classic
convertible gleamed under the soft glow of the garage lights.
“These are yours,” | repeated, tossing him the keys again. “And | mean it this time...don’t givethat look.”
Sebastian Caught the keys and stared at them, his hand trembling. “Alex, | don’t even know how to drive some
of these.”
| grinned, clapping him on the shoulder. “Then we'll get you a driver until you do. Problem solved.”

A few minutes later, a team of contractors arrived, just as I'd instructed. Sebastian Looked on in confusion as |
walked up to
one of them.
“I need the guest room on the west wing upgraded into a private suite,” | instructed. “Something personal.
Comfortable, but luxurious. Have it done by the end of the week.”
“Of course, Mr. Alistair,” the contractor replied.
“Wait,” Sebastian Interjected, his voice rising slightly. “Alex, you don’t need to do all this. I'm fine where | am.”
| turned to him, shaking my head. “No, you're not. You're just too proud to admit it. Lettake care of you,
Sebastian. That's what family does.”
He sighed, running a hand through his now-clean hair. “This is all so much, Alex. I...I don’t even know how to
thank you.”
“You don’t have to thank me,” I said firmly. “You're my brother. That's all the reason | need.”
After the contractors left, | took him to the study, where | pulled out a folder and placed it on the desk in front of
him.
“What's this?” he asked, hesitating before picking it up.
