Chapter 4420 | Won't Tell You
Kai paused slightly, yet he did not feed the birds any spiritual stones. Instead, he continued to approach them
anyway.
Seeing Kai disregarding her advice, Catalina expressed her annoyance, “You sure are stubborn. | told you not to
touch them. Don’t ccrying towhen they attack you.”
The man merely chuckled, continuing to move closer to the birds.
When he was merely a few meters away from the two ivory birds, they bechighly alert. Their eyes were
fixated on him intently, ready to attack as he drew closer.
Catalina stood by, watching the whole spectacle. She wanted to see how this man would react when the birds
attacked him. After all, he had it coming for not listening!
As Kai drew closer and closer to the creatures, the aura of his dragon bloodline began to gradually emanate from
him.
Even though all forms of power within him were subdued, his own bloodline was something that couldn’t possibly

Upon detecting his bloodline’s aura, the two ivory birds instantaneously shifted from being alert to a state of
terror, their bodies quivering slightly.
Kai approached one of the birds and began to stroke it. In response, it remained as docile as a lamb, not daring
to move an inch.
No matter which bird the man reached out to, neither dared to budge.
Catalina was utterly baffled. She couldn't comprehend how Kai had managed to pull it off.
Upon seeing that he did not feed the birds any spiritual stones but was still allowed to pet them, others were also
eager to give it a try.
Yet, as soon as one of the cultivators stepped forward, a bird let out a cry before launching an attack that sent
him fleeing in terror.
“Cback,” Kai called out, and surprisingly, the attacking creature actually obeyed, halting its assault and
turning back.
At this point, everyone else was also dumbfounded, unable to comprehend how these two ivory birds could
possibly heed Kai's commands.
Amidst the bewildered crowd, Kai mounted one of the birds. With a gentle call, it instantly soared into the sky.
Perched atop the creature, he could see further and higher than ever before.
Catalina watched in astonishment. A surge of competitiveness welled up within her, prompting her to approach
the other bird.
She, too, yearned to mount it and let it carry her up to the sky.
However, despite several attempts, the woman found herself repeatedly getting shrugged off by the creature.
“I've fed you so many spiritual stones! Why do you only letpet you, but not ride you?” she yelled, visibly
upset.
“Let her on,” Kai cried out while in mid-air.
Upon hearing his call, the bird on the ground slowly settled down, allowing Catalina to mount on its back.
With that, the two ivory birds carried Kai and Catalina across the sky.

Everyone below was filled with envy as they watched.
If their abilities hadn't been suppressed, they would have been able to fly on their own.
However, within the Celestial Battlefield, everyone’s strength was suppressed. Even walking for a prolonged
period was exhausting, let alone being robbed of their ability to fly.
Catalina perched atop the bird, sizing up Kai as she questioned, “What's your deal? Why do these ivory birds
obey you?”
“I wouldn't know. Maybe they findmore approachable.”
He couldn’t possibly reveal his dragon bloodline.
“Nonsense.” Catalina rolled her eyes at him.
“Then tell me, why do you seem to know everything about the Celestial Battlefield?” Kai asked in return. “You
even know the nature of these ivory birds. Have you been here before? Who exactly are you?”
He was simply too curious about Catalina’s identity.
“I won't tell you.”
With a grin, Catalina then rode on the ivory bird, charging forward.
